Video: Northeast Winter Storm Causes Long Gas Lines, Hazardous Driving on Long Island
Yahoo! News is gathering brief first-person accounts, photos and video from the severe winter weather in the northeastern United States. Here's one resident's story.
FIRST PERSON | A massive winter storm hit the northeast on Feb. 8, causing long gas lines and hazardous driving conditions on Long Island.
In this video, taken in Westbury, New York, at 5 p.m. EST on Feb. 8, the icy roads and slippery traffic conditions are clearly visible. Motorists are advised to stay off the roads to help plows and sand-spreading crews get through.
The storm is expected to dump at least a foot of snow on Long Island.
