Space shuttle Enterprise's Manhattan arrival pushed back a day due to weather

NEW YORK, N.Y. - The space shuttle Enterprise's arrival at its new Manhattan home has been pushed back a day.

Organizers announced Monday that bad weather has delayed preparation work.

Wednesday is the Enterprise's new tentative move-in date at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.

The shuttle left Kennedy Airport on a barge Sunday morning. It was towed past thousands of spectators to Jersey City, N.J.

It had been at JFK since it was flown from Washington atop a 747 jet in April.
